Hot Takes

- The debut of the FFFL Coaches Poll was a succesful one. In standard Poll protocal, a first place vote equaled 12 points, 2nd place equaled 11, all the way down to a 12th place vote equaling a lot of one pointers for Dom*.

- Strong showing by Bob in the preseason poll. No one had him finishing higher than 4th, but the greatest consensus of any team and spot was Bob at 4th. A fourth place regular season finish would of course mean a return to the post season for a franshise that is normally a fixture there, but needs to bounce back from a down year in 2019.

- Throat Tickle and Grown Man's Poop are like a C list celebrity yelling "Do you know who I am" to the poor hostess at Applebee's. Both were Final Four teams last season, with Tickle making it to The Finals, but they sit at 6 and 7, respectively. Yes, it is a new season, but all they want is a seat where they can see the biggest TV and an ice cold Brewtus. Tickle has all the right Chiefs, plus Saquan's $80 price tag, and it would be no surprise to see another finals trip from one of the only three time champs in league history. With Poop, a few more things need to break his way, but stranger things have happened. 

- The feeling in Noodle Soup's facility is that Shooters Shoot, and and he is taking his shot. A swashbuckling pre draft trade for Kamara has put him in a spot with potentially the best RB threesome in the league to go with Dakota Prescott, who was a top 5 QB last year. Soup got a taste of glory with a Final Four trip last season, and goes into 2020 as a short list favorite to bring home the belt this year. 

- Prime Time wins the award for award for "No one knows what to think about me"**, collecting three top three votes, and also four bottom three votes. Prime's season will largely be decided by which Cam shows up. MVP Cam probably eaquals a playoff berth, based on the rest of the team. 

- I don't want to leave out Show me your TD's, the other team to pull off a pre-draft trade. Yes, TD's pulled in his usual assortment of players who either played at uga, or currently play for the Lions. This time, however, he picked the good players from those two teams, AND surrounded them with OTHER good players. 

- And just when you thought you would get out of here without a wrestling GIF, Southern Comfort and Antonio Brown Poop, you listen to the Macho Man!

*It was actually just three 12th place votes for Dom, still the most but not necissarily "a lot".

In a rare Week 1 - Rivalry week matchup Grown Man Poop took down Little Spoon. The big difference in this one was Josh Jacobs big 33 points, as the rest of this was a traditional Grown Man Poop "everyone do a some, but nobody will kill it" week. There was also a little bit of irony in Poop using the Pats defense to beat Little Spoon, who rode the pats D's historic fantasy season all the way to The Finals last year. - Apparantly Fort Dix's robust scoring was not enough to make believers out of voters this week.  Dix has gotten off to fast starts before (he's also gotten off to slow starts), but in his fourth year in the league, this team looks like his...

Antonio Brown Poop 9. Bob Bruton 10. Southern Comfort 11. Dom Toretto 12. Prime Time Hot Takes - There were more muscles flexed in Week 2 than in the beach volleyball scene in Top Gun. Five teams cleared 130 points, including an epic match between Show me your TDs and Burning Sensations where both went over. BS and TDs locked up in a dual that showed that TD's is playing for keeps this year, as long as the definiton of playing for keeps still involves starting anyone on the Lions or former uga players. One other note on this matchup, Burning Sensations put up this robust score even while getting a zero from Kenny Golliday. - Just like we all thought, Dom Toretto was the high score of the week. What makes this even more astounding is Leonard Fournette and his 25 points enjoyed this ...

Week 3

Bob Bruton 9. Dom Toretto 10. Prime Time 11. Antonio Brown Poop 12. Southern Comfort Hot Takes - A shake up was promised in the polls, and shakeup is what you got. Three different teams recieved first place votes in week three, one week after a near unanimous number one. Noodle Soup and Burning Sensations recreated the shower scene from American History X in their respective matches, winning by a combine 130 points. The wild part about that is their oppenents didn't even have bad weeks. Prime Time put up a robust 121 points, AND LOST BY 62. Soup came within 4 points of setting a new one week record for highest score, and the Sensations weren't far behind. It was a strong week by these two contendors, and a message sent to the rest of the league. - The other team recieving first place votes ...
